Venturing Training Trail

A cornerstone of the Scouting program is training. There are many opportunities available to youth and adults at various levels to further develop your skills. Some of these trainings will be conducted in your unit; others are available for you to work on by yourself. A Scout leader is entitled to wear the Trained leader emblem when he or she has completed some basic but important training courses.  This is a fun-filled program of hands-on skills training in the outdoors, designed to help Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters to master and teach the basic camping skills required for Tenderfoot to First Class.
